I take it back

Ok, so in my last post I regret something that I said. I said that if there was no hope for mankind (America) then I would jump off a bridge. Sometimes when you are passionate about something you choose the wrong words to express that passion. I would be crushed if this country fell apart and I would hate what it would do to everyone around me. There would be complete chaos, there would be violence, riots, starvation, death and everything else that goes along with a collapsing society, and on top of that it would be the collapse of freedom. I just want to say that I would not give up because of that. I would not give up, because there is another hope beyond chaos or tyranny. There is hope beyond this world. A hope that lights the path of true freedom. God was the source of our freedom from the chains of man in the Declaration of Independence as he was before the Declaration of Independence was written.

The election

Some people might look at my comments on Facebook and think that I rant too much. It could seem at times that I have some unrealistic opinions about who Republicans are, and that maybe I overlook the flaws of the party too much. There is a reason why I was excited about the election yesterday and there is a reason why I support Republicans. I don't deny the fact that Republicans are flawed, but I completely reject the opinion that because some politicians are flawed they all are corrupt, if every politician is evil just for being a politician then how can there be hope for the future? I reject that because if I believed that there was no hope for politicians then I would be forced to believe that there was no hope for the country and then there would be no hope for mankind. I would probably go jump off a bridge if I believed these things. Now don't confuse that with me putting all my trust in politicians. I believe that the reason we need to do everything in our power to get this country on the right track is because our country is the model of the closest thing to freedom we will ever see on this earth. Our country was founded by people who voluntarily wrote into the constitution checks on their own power. People don't realize how amazing it is that there were men who put barriers on how much power they would have! They wrote that we had rights which cannot be taken away by men because they weren't given to us by men, they were given to us by GOD!! Socialism is a complete rejection of this idea and we are being pushed further and further into a socialistic type system where rights are now supposedly confered upon us by men instead of God; the big deal about that is that the rights which have been given to us by men can also be denied to us by men! The word "right" has become so destroyed that it is now basically meaningless; people say you have a "right" to have a home, a "right" to healthcare, a "right" to pension plans, it is absurd and it will go on and on forever. People who can give themselves rights will never find an end to what they deserve as a "right". These "rights" are a way to buy votes or pressure people into voting a certain way based on emotion (YOU'RE AGAINST HEALTHCARE, YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO BE HEALTHY!). I'm sure there are people who confuse my hope and excitement for this election with naivete, but I believe that right now the Republicans are the only hope to save our country from a president who is doing everything he can to destroy the country. He is leading us down a path that if followed for a long enough time period would lead to hyperinflation, bankruptcy, and eventually the dissolution of the United States of America. If Republicans stand for the values of our founding fathers (CONSERVATIVE VALUES) then we will prosper. If Republicans act like they did under Bush then we should reject them and find people who will stand up for the values which made this country into the last best hope on earth.
